MY STORY

My name is Hakim Makumbi and I am a third year architectural technology student at the University of Central Lancashire. I am 25 years old and I was born in Kampala, Uganda. I initially lived in Uganda for 13 years and then moved to London. From there we moved to Manchester and I have currently been studying in Preston for a total of 5 years. I speak Luganda and English and I have always been a very creative individual. I thrive from visual learning and I have a passion for modernist sustainable architecture and design.

I am a committed, dedicated and hard working individual and I strive to achieve everything I set my mind to. My aim is to work as a fully employed architectural technologist and I am keen to have a long and successful career. In my future in architecture, I intend to continuously keep learning and growing.
