St Catherine's Hospice
Live Project
St Catherine's Hospice, is a healing centre that "helps people facing life-shortening conditions to live in comfort and with dignity, independence and choice."

Recent renovation and extensions plans on the site allowed participation in a live project where Architectural Studies students collaborated with Architects, staff and patients to produce early stage renovation proposals for a futrue hospice.

The theme for the project focused on a form of therapeutic design, which aimed to combat/reduce stress and insecurity within the patients time at the hospice. The project allowed me to be able to learn from a live project how such an environment can have influence on the souls (end user), showing the responsibility we held as designers.
