Brockholes

Field Trip

A 250 acre nature reserve, Brockholes represents a new style of day out. With stunning views and a 'visitor village' that includes a restaurant named the Kestrel Kitchen and a visitor shop, it attracts a combination of contrasting visitors.

This was another field trip in my third year, to see what appears to be almost a floating village. The objective of the trip was to understand the diversity and conservation of the natural species and renewable material use such as paper mache in celing construction.
